Whereas before, the horse found that he could take a break if he stood looking into the trailer, you must now ratchet the pressure so that he finds that "rest" can be had only when he's "one percent more in the trailer than a moment earlier." Should your horse go on to lodge himself half in, half out of the trailer, take your lead rope or lunge whip and flick his rear to let him know that something's gotta move. (Even backing back out and starting over is better than a deadlock.) Make sure you are standing one full "horse length" away from the horse anytime you do this. You'd be amazed how far they reach with a kick. Alternatively, you can stand well to the side.
